“The Fluxx nightclub downtown was transformed into its own version of the OASIS, the virtual playground replete with retro geek chic. The crowd enjoyed stepping into Bill & Ted’s phone booth, “mixed reality” gaming offerings and cover sets by L.A. tribute bands…”
“The hype was definitely pretty high going in to these events, and let me tell you, [XLEVELENT] did not disappoint! They managed to deck out the Fluxx Nightclub with amazing themed decorations which changed every night to match the new party theme.”
“If there’s one party that’s dedicated to fans, it’s the Xlevelent parties. The event is open to everyone, and it’s one of the few parties that lasts until 2 a.m."
“My first night there I was thrust into the world of Ready Player One. The second (my favorite) I was transported to the upside-down. And for the final third night, we were treated to the Awesome Mixer that was themed after Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy. What set this event apart was the sheer star power that these events were able to obtain.
“Ready Player One theme, where Fluxx night club was transformed into the OASIS, the virtual reality world depicted in the book and movie of the same name…There are only a handful of places that offer something special, something that uniquely celebrates and immerses people in the fandoms they love….That’s where Experience Level Entertainment comes in. “
The most wonderful thing was seeing characters from all over the nerdverse dancing together…The performers knew how to connect with the theme, and the fans… Everywhere you turned there were nods to the show, like the Byers living room from season one in the VIP lounge, posters from arcade classics in season two and a fantasy photo booth like the one in the Starcourt mall in season three.
